Best Rifle Stock Cheekpiece?
I've got a 50 mm scope on my Tika T3, and am not getting the cheek weld I'd like (can't get behind the scope because the stock is too low or the scope is too high). Can't change the scope mounts or the scope won't clear.
Can anyone recommend an add on cheek piece that works well? I've seen ones that actually screw to the stock, and some that just bind on with velcro straps, but have never used one and don't know which way to jump.
Will a drill holes, screw it on type cheek piece work with the synthetic stock on my rifle?

Bear tooth work well for something simple with fairly clean lines and removeable.
There big bags with Velcro straps and zippers as well if you want something to put extra gear in

You may be able to get a varmint stock or something that someone has taken off on cgn.
Not sure if the barrel channel will match and will have to confirm the bottom metal inlet is the same

I use a Triad Tactical stock pack. Bunch of different configuration options, comfortable, and adjustable.

I would see if you can find a T3 varmint stock and take the cheek riser off and put on yours. I had a varmint stock kicking around and this is what I did.

If this is going to be a permanent arrangement have a look at Boyds stocks. They make a version with an adjustable cheek rest that will likely work out to about the same price as the better quality add on cheek rests. That and the varmint stock riser would be the two I would pursue.
Base price 227 U.S.

[QUOTE=elkhunter11;4479261]And that is why I avoid 50mm scopes on hunting rifles. If you don't want to drill the stock, you can try the Graco stick on cheekpiece, or the Beartooth comb kit.
I use the same ones (Graco stick on cheekpiece) brand named for Berretta. They make two thickness 3/8" and a 1/4" the one's Dean suggested are cheaper.

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

I put a leather cheek piece / ammo holder on an old 99. It worked very well.
