Default remington 700 ml to smokeless rebuild

I am not asking about shooting smokeless out of a black powder barrel. Just wanting to know if anyone here has done a re-barrel and plug on the 700ml Remington to shoot smokeless, just using the action Thanks.

I always thought the 700 was one of the few muzzle loaders rated for Smokeless powder ?

Are you talking about the older ml with the percussions caps or the newer ultimate muzzleloader? I think most custom smokeless rifles are built off a standard short action

I have shot lots out of the Sav10ML2, but I have not done a conversion myself.
PRBullets in Manitoba has a conversion pkg - that would probably be my path of choice if I were to do one right now.

https://www.prbullet.com/700.htm

If you find someone else who can/will do the conversion - let me know as well

Nope - you are thinking of the Savage 10ML2 - which sadly is no longer in production.

Hankins does his builds on 700 CF rifles not the older ML's. He does a nice build and uses a LRMP module for ignition. He also does break action conversions.
There are some guys in the States that do convert 700 ML,s and there are some that provide all of the components to do the build yourself. Arrowhead Sporting Goods is one.

I'm building mine off a Remington 700 ml action, cf and ml pretty much same action other than lock lugs. However on muzzleloader all pressure is in front of breech plug. Sure can't find a short action Remington 700 in poor shape for price of couple good used 700ml's.
