Default sks accuracy

i was wondering if anyone had some tricks for making there sks more accurate, i put a 4x scope on it a muzzle break and a synthetic stock. At a 100 yds the first 2 shots are dead on then after that ther all over 80%go hi right like 12" out the other 20% go high all over lol, let its sit for bout an hour cool off bang on again. So if anyone has any tricks please feel free to let me know.

'trick' some one else into buying it, then go buy a real gun. i've tried 2 of them, both junk, but they sure will empty the ammo box!!

problem with the SKS's is that when they were used before they probably got shot a whole lot without alot of cooldown, which could easily mess it up for life. Semi-auto doesn't help either. If you are going to try somethig though, maybe a good copper cleaner. You could also try using gun juice, not sure if it works all that well but its probably worth a try.

The SKS Was designed as a minute-of-man firarm not a target rifle. It was intended to kill men, being used by soldiers with little firearms training.. It is fine as a plinker (well... maybe not) or possibly for Zombie defense(never seen one, but it seems to be the new rage) , but not much else. Sorta like the Mini-14, although it has gotten a little better, not much, but a little, but at least good enough for close coyotes.

Default scope mts

Problem being the common crappy slide cover mts that can't possibly hold their zero along with forgetting to install a shell deflecter to prevent empties from hitting your scope.Choate make a side reciever mt with a Weaver rail.As for accuracy my son's early 60's Chinese SKS screw in barrels not pinning [spike bayonet] will keep them on a tennis ball at 75 yards with either 24gr /Win 748 and .310 /123gr SP or .308 dia 150gr SP and IMR 4198 Crude but effective at close range...........................Harold[ open sights]
