My experience from when you could get an archery tag every other year....
Bucks will start to run in and challenge a decoy starting around the 15th.
Before then, results can be slow and very sporadic.
Peak decoying days have been 15-23.
As Lefty described, they can get decoy shy depending on hunting pressure.
It's quite surprising how quickly the rut heats up, peaks, and ends....
Summit, if those dates are what you have to work with, go with 10-18.
The extra time will give you time to learn the decoying game and you will get into the action.
