Default Jiffy Power Ice Auger

Just wondering if anybody in the Lethbridge area has a neighbor or friend that is sporting a new to them 10" Jiffy Model 31 Power Auger? Apparently someone felt they deserve it more than me!!

On Boxing Day I stopped at the Wal-Mart on the South end of Lethbridge on my way home from fishing for 10 minutes max at 4:00pm. Parked my truck away from the rest to draw attention to anyone that parked near me. I came back to my truck to find someone had cut the 1" tie down holding my quad and auger down and NO AUGER!!

If you know of anybody I'm just wondering if I could sell them the blade guard for $450.00 that fell off when they ripped it out of my truck? Hoping I can recoup some of my loss.

Jesus christ what the hell is wrong with people? Why did you want to draw attention to anyone though?

I was thinking that if someone were to park near my truck and start taking things out that MAYBE someone, being a busy day of the year and in broad daylight, just might spot them and wonder whats going on!! I found out the hard way that this didn't work. I also recommend to everyone that you sit down and record the make, model and serial numbers of anything of value you have.

As far as insurance goes, your vehicle insurance doesn't cover stolen contents not fixed to your vehicle. You have to go through your home insurance and my deductable is $500.00. We need Texas laws here!!

Hi 220. Hope you had a good Xmas and New Year.
