Which has the same weight of logic as saying all motor vehicle operators are sober and responsible drivers until they are drunk, so ban all automobiles.
Very strange what happened there, by all appearances it didn't really seem to be a bank robbery so much as something else.

Cautionary tale here about the Rambo fantasy - six of the professionals, the "good guys" were injured - three of them severely.

I think it was suicide by cop they were in the bank a long time without taking anything then went out to face the police intending to out in a misguided glory shootout besides nobody robs banks anymore let alone on an island.
A high speed chase to the ferry?

Some things stuck me as exceedingly dumb: their old beater of a car was customized with twin ‘racing stripes’, so its not exactly subtle for making a getaway in. Second is that photos show their car parked nose-in, so they’d have to back up prior to leaving, not exactly efficient.
Perhaps their intent was never to get away?
Definitely disappointing if they were licensed.

Cripes, that articles notes they had even been Cadets. That sucks as I frequently reference Cadets as a way youth are taught responsibility & safe firearms handling when I’m debating anti’s who freak out about teaching kids safe firearm use. I was in Cadets when I was young & got lots out of it.
