Arrow Farrier Hammer

Hello, everybody!

Hope everyone is fine!

A friend of mine asked me to restore her grandfather's Farrier Hammer. We agreed on leaving most of the marks and scratches to save the authentic look of it. I used beautiful hardwood Wenge for the handle. It turned out real good in my opinion, what do you guys think?

Thank you for watching!

Stay safe!

Very nice! I've worked with wenge quite a bit and the slivers can be epic! Purpleheart is about the same. How did you make out?

Very nice work Angler!

Is the restoration for professional use again or a keep sake display piece for the granddaughter?

Creeky....

Thanks, Creeky!

No, not for professional use, for the memory and probably to hammer a nail once in a while to hang a picture on the wall.
