Default Wapiabi Road

Hello, I am considering doing some back country camping near Largehorn Peak this week. What is the road condition of Wapiabi road like? Also would this be a good area to camp?

Thanks guys and gals.

I was just camping there this past weekend. Went on some hikes. The road is in good condition. Some soft sections but they are not bad. I saw SUV's and cars there, so the road can't be that bad of condition. I was camped just short of where the road crosses Wapiabi Creek.

Haven't been up in that area the last couple years but there used to be quite a few Grizz in that area. The biggest Grizz I ever saw was just off the Wapiabi road in a meadow. I was still hunting along the edge for moose and ran into him on a kill at about 40 yards. He didn't charge but it could have gone either way. Lots of Grizz sign West of the Blackstone to the North of there as well last time I was in there....Be careful.
