Default Bachelor Party Ideas?

I am getting married in June and I am looking for ideas for a bachelor party that will suit an older (60+) and younger (my kids - teenagers) crowd? I am 47 and this is my second time around so I am not looking for the typical bar, get hammered, strippers etc. I live in the Drayton Valley area also so looking for ideas within 1 hour. Thanks in advance, Your recommendations or ideas are appreciated.

I was thinking of paintball afternoon for the younger and more active of us and a bbq, poker eve and some drinks in the eve but want to see if there is some other good ideas I have not thought of.

We did the paintball bachelor party for buddies before. Always a good time but be aware that at the end the groom usually gets lined up and blasted full tilt! You will look like cheetah with all the bruise spots when it is all over... LOL

I'd plan a 2 day camping trip / "boys" retreat.

We did this for a friend. We got him a hot pink bunny costume to wear while paint balling. Was funny watching him try to hide in the trees. At the end we made him “run the gauntlet” he had to strip down to his ginch and run by about 12 of us while we unloaded.

Go have a wild west kind of party. Rent "Em-Tee town" for the night. Drinks at the saloon and then paintball (or blunt lances) on horseback. YeeHaww!!!

EmTee town is just west of Buck lake.

I went to a paintball stag where for the last round the groom stripped down to only his jock and facemask. (had the whole place to ourselves). We each got 10 paintballs and the groom had a full magazine. Him and against all of us. Make sure you know the crowd well when organizing a stag. The groom looked absolutely horrible afterwards but it was a lot of fun.

Along the lines of paintball but without the bruising is laser tag. I attended one place with my 9 year old son for one of his classmates birthday parties and it was lots of fun for kids and adults alike. That being said they might have booking time windows for adults where no kids are about? Not sure on that but was just thinking of not running over little ones while playing, I had to stay alert to not barrel over wee ones when running about.

There are also trampoline parks to consider.

Get a group campsite at a lake, rent a top of the line wake boat, spend the weekend on the water

I guess it does not fall into the 1 hour drive window, but when one makes a long weekend of it who cares about a few hours drive to the Shuswap?

My buddies took me to Axehole to throw hatchets, followed by lunch at a sports pub, then off to Phoenix to burn some gunpowder then we finished off shooting pool, drinking beer at Metro Pool Hall. It was a great time as people came people went and we still had an awesome time.

Shuswaps, house boat, anchor on shore at nights to party, move on to a new location each morning...

Some of us prefer to play the sport rather than to watch others do it on TV.

Camping along grave flats road. Shouldn't be too far from Dayton. Great area and beautiful scenery. Guys could go quad ding too, or shoot some rifles. Tons of fun to be had and lots of areas big enough for a bunch of trailers.

Back in our teens we would hit up this place called Paintball Action Games in Edmonton. Sweet little indoor arena they had. I'm sure it's still around there too. I think 48th ave and 90th street?

Just don't get peppered too bad. Some of those kids can move...
