Default Class c motorhome

Anyone have a class C with air bags on the back.
Was thinking of adding to mine but don’t know a good brand.
And what do you and don’t you like about them.

Our Motorhome came with air bags...so I don't know the brand, but I do know that now that I have them, I wouldn't go without them..makes a huge difference on ride, fuel mileage, overall performance..our Motorhome is a 31ft 2003 Minnie winne winnabego
Sorry but that's all I can offer for advice on this.

I used to have a 30' Georgie Boy Swinger which came with no airbags. I took it to Standens to install front and back airbags, I believe it was Ride Right (sp?) from Firestone. It did made a big difference in driving, was money well spent IMO

Another vote for Firestone. There are far less expensive ones but for long term ownership and minimal issues, Firestone is among the top ranked. Have had and have them on motor homes and on pickups. Work great, way better ride and far more stable in the wind.

Airlift, Bosche and a few others make good bags but they were all a lot more money and I could see no improvement in features or performance claims.

The ones I had done in Edmonton were all done or worked on by Scona Spring and Trailer on 80 Ave about 100 St. They have been in same location over 40 years. Great work, reasonable prices.

I agree with the Firestone air bag system
Good product, easy to install .

Well worth the money, ride, and case of beer to sip on whilst installing..

are you saying Grief? As in they were giving you a hard time. I would probably talk to the service manager that does the actual installs, I never dealt with the parts department in all the times I went there. I used to deal with Art for years, but he is now retired. Don't know who the new service manager is. I used to get a quote from service to install what I want and had them do the work. If however you don't feel good about Scona, McKoys in another choice. Had one trailer done there and the work was fine.

Glad that worked out. Have to come back and let us know what you think. My bet is you will never own a motor home without them ever again.

Just remember, most tires, if not all tires are dated. You do not want something that is 5 years old. Rubber deteriorates and after 5 or 6 years is garbage. I know that there are lots of people will disagree with me. The dating is RAISED letters, usually on the inside.

I just put brand new tires on it.
$2500 parts and labour for the bags
He figures just adding a leaf to the pack might be enough. Going to take the rv into herb at scona and see what he thinks.
He has a suspicion that my spring pack may be flattened out.
