Default Intersection and patients

To the *****hole at the Kitscoty corner in the white gmc crew cab with tinted windows that hexagon red shape on the post means stop before the white line.
Not flying up the corner and slowing down and proceeding through it. How many people have been killed at this corner and other peoples life put in jeopardy.

Tonight could have been another accident except I seen it happening before the intersection and slowed down otherwise things may have been a different story

Done venting!!

By the title I was expecting something about a road adjacent a hospital with people wearing drafty blue gowns milling around the sidewalk, some with walkers

I actually expected something to do with patients as well.

And here I thought a stop sign was a octagon shape?

You learn new things every day.

I still don’t see mention of people in need of medical care.........

Default Rollin stop

My fishing partner performed a slow “ rolling stop” at an empty four way intersection on the way out fishing yesterday. The ticket was $388 so I’m sure that will cure him if that habit!

Just your typical Albertan "moving at the speed of bussiness" All those (traffic) safety indoctrinations we are constantly bombarded with are just guidelines...

I had a minor melt down in that intersection today. Heading north going home from baseball with my 30ft bumper hitch in tow. Crossing the intersection and a little car zips straight across in front of me. No traffic on my side but they shot the stop sign and beat traffic just to make me slam on the brakes. Then proceeded to give me the finger. My 14 year old was in the front seat, I looked at him and he said I know if I ever do anything that stupid you'll kill me. Took my edge off lol.

Great teaching moment.

Easy to see how people get killed but there's no excuse for it. Follow the rules and everything works.
