Would have been 390 P10 applying for 125 tags according to last years stats
Turkey has become a once in lifetime tag in Alberta with over 6000 applicants for 125 tags
Start now and ur 45 years from a tag if nothing changes

We got a couple calling season moose tags. Now the dilemma, which rifle to take.

I had a dream that I was drawn for bull moose. Woke up and saw I was drawn for nothing. I am going back to sleep.

Just wondering, did they jack up all the number of mule deer tags in the eastern zones? It seems like everyone I've talked to got their mule deer draw this year. Is this a reaction to the increased CWD percentages?

I have nothing to back up this claim, but I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if there has been any publications for this years tag numbers.

Nothing, I thought for sure I would get my antlered moose with a P3 since last years success rate was 100% with a P1. I guess I should have put in last year instead of 999'ing it.
When do the draw summaries come out? I have a feeling something fishy is going on as because none of my usual partners got drawn for moose, some with a P4.

I'm guessing just luck of the draw (no pun intended). Probably not too many guys decided to moose hunt said zone last year for whatever reason. This year a bunch of guys who 999'd last year that had higher priority all of a sudden got the urge to moose hunt this year and there ya have it. That's my guess anyway.

Yes, I found it to be kind of a cluster this year, we had troubles putting them in, and then troubles getting results. Its too bad that our current decision makers thought it would be a good idea to have a new out of province service provider for the draws this year. With the downturn in Alberta's economy, maybe it would have been an opportunity to create some Alberta jobs.

On the plus side, I drew a cow Elk , late season for WMU 214/314.

Fingers crossed for my Antelope draw.

You could very well be right, I guess we will know once the draw summaries come out.

Default Yeehaw

I did not fall in the 6% unsuccessful for a priority 6 draw in 208. Mr Mule Buck I am coming for you.
So excited, and the great friend I helped last year with elk and mule is my wingman this year, in a zone he has a moose tag.

One tag each and it feels like a dream season for us.

To all of you pulling tags and burning up years of waiting, may you have dream seasons and build wicked memories. Take a kid with you on harvest day and hopefully it lights a fire in the little buggers to get a bow, a gun, what have you.

Good luck!!!!!!!!

Time to take her to the range with the rifles.
Good luck this fall be safe

Same problem with Moose for us. Normally a two pulls a moose and this year only the one P4 got a draw. Now we have 8 guys without moose or elk tags. First world problems
