Default Wish to go from compound to recurve

My present set up is this - Hoyt Nitrum 35, at 50# and 30" draw. Using Easton 340 FMJ with 150 grain points. Hogg Father sight with Axcel scope, and Spot Hogg Infinity rest. Mostly target (Kyudo - which is very difficult with this setup), I plan on some upland next year.

From my research I believe I'll go with a 40# takedown aluminum around 68".
I would like to keep using the arrows, SH rest and sight setup if possible only for when I go hunting.

Does it matter what size riser, and are there risers that will accomodate my sights and rest? Cant afford target models like the Hoyt Santori.

All suggestions greatly appreciated.
