I don't venture into the bedding areas until the herds have dispersed. That should be fairly soon I'm guessing as the snow is really dropping fast.

The matched sets are on the left...and singles on the right.
Sooo envious of your deer population. I have no where to go to even find 1/4 of those.

Some old mulies as a reminder of the good old days. Excellent habitat, 1 deer.

Everyone but Dad has found one, lol

Would love to see some things that you guys are doing with your sheds around the house and in the yard? Post some pics and/or share your ideas!

Made this myself with the deer I have harvested over the years. Few sheds in there as well.

Here's a knife I recently made buck_hunter. Been collecting sheds for years. And decided, why not make something. Working on another one too.

Coming to work this am passed a bull moose with both sides still attached, he was running hard across a stubble field didn't look like they were going to fall off any time soon? They were white in color, but he wasn't shaking his head and it looked like they were not bugging him that much.

Lol!!! Yup, I've done the very same thing on a few occasions with a small moose antler...
One time, while glassing the same field where I had found a 108" whitey shed a few days earlier, I spotted heavy tines and a palmated beam sticking above the snow. Convinced it was the other side I had been looking for...I ran (floundered) the 300 yds through deep snow and nearly destroying my lungs in the cold air...only to discover the shed of a 2-yr old bull moose...laying pretty much like the one in your picture.

Funny thing is I thought that on a few young moose paddles, then on my second last trip out I saw some big long tines poking out of the snow and thought "oh just an other little moose" I didnt take an as it lay picture and just grabbed it and it turn out to be my biggest whitetail to date!

Here's another...
Posted the pics and story of this matched set in last year's shed thread but figured since I'll do it again for those who are avid shed hunters...approximately 100" and 101" for the respective side..
