Default Every road hunter maybe interested in this question.

2015 hunting regulation (general) says:
It's unlawful to "have a loaded firearm (live ammunition in breech, chamber or magazine) in or on, or discharge a weapon from
a boat unless the boat is propelled by muscular power or is at anchor and the person is hunting, or
any kind of aircraft or vehicle whether it is moving or stationary."
I am not very clear about the definition of "from a vehicle". please clarify this two scenarios as described below if you could:

1. stop the vehicle, open the door, both feet on the ground, but I use my side door window as the gun holder. Will this be considered as "discharge a weapon from vehicle"?

2. stop my vehicle, open the door, both my feet on the ground, stand beside my vehicle and use my vehicle as a cover, and lean again my vehicle to shoot. Will this be considered as "discharge a weapon from vehicle"?

Anyone can explain?

id say both are a no no, as well as discharging from the road, unless its unmaintained.

get out, get into the ditch, and shoot.

It's unlawful to "have a loaded firearm (live ammunition in breech, chamber or magazine) in or ON,

"ON" is the key word. Loaded firearm "in" or "on" a vehicle is unlawful.

We assume it's on unmantained road and using shotgun.

Both your scenarios are illegal and worthy of a ticket. This has been hashed out many times, using your truck as a rest is a no no regardless where your feet or your ass is.

How far away from the vehicle to discharge shotgun is considered as "not discharge weapon from a vehicle"? Can anyone clear that for me?

Default Guns on vehicle

I have met people who were in camp and leaned a loaded gun against a tire on cold vehicle and were charged with a loaded gun on a vehicle.

Yup.

I loaded my rifle, but I had to set it down again on my tail gate to put my pack on, so unloaded it, put it down, then loaded it again when I was ready to go.

Takes 3 seconds and saves you trouble.

Wrong no contact of the truck in anyway. Both scenarios get you tickets and who knows what else. Antelope is different you must be no where near your truck, I can't recall the exact #of meters.
