I didn’t forget, I just didn’t have time to research how many times the phlegms have won it. I started but it was like finding a needle in a haystack.

If you win 5 cups 30 years ago how many bonus points does it add for this season?

Math is hard...

Doesn't.....Neither does comparing the playoff % for past 36 seasons....

We are just a bunch of bitter fans who can't pick on anyone else but each other as we BOTH had a horrible suck a## seasons.

Lets hope that we have something substantial to chirp about next year. As fun as it is to bug you Phlegm fans, it's a sad situation we are BOTH in.
BOTH teams could be so much better, but have been let down yet again.......

Yes. Comparing useless stats from a quarter century ago because we have no current events to talk about is demeaning lol. But I like how the Oilers fans were quiet while the Flames still had a chance and then when they knew we were done, brought up their go too argument from 30 years ago. Classy bunch .

One more game between us. Flames will likely lose as they have given up. Sad state of affairs here in Alberta, especially with all the hype.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Oilers passed us in points by the end of the season. I don't get why they are pushing so hard now, they were in a nice spot for a good draft pick.

Historically, Flames have been a better team in the regular season.
Oilers have had better playoff success.

Who cares? Seriously. Who cares?

There is a possibility that he signs with the Oilers.
If Chiarelli can convince Karlsson to play for free.
or
If Chiarelli can convince 5 or 6 other guys to play for free.

Oilers have an interesting cap situation. Not sure how they'll work their way out of it.

Also a very good chance the cap is increasing. Those 2 may look like a lot now, but so did 8 mil contracts a few years ago. Everything goes up, no matter what you talk about.

HAHAHAHA how thin is the air up there on your pedestal?? There is no tire tracks on the high road from you Lamers either.

Pretty funny how you Phlegm wads continually took shots at the Oil when you had a chance to get in, but how silent YOU have become since the "COAST TO THE PLAYOFFS", turned into the Coast to the golf coarse!! Crow sure tastes like S### doesn't it..........

You are misinformed. There was no coasting to the golf course... that pedal was pinned to the floor on the home stretch!!!

Fairly accurate. No coasting what-so-ever involved in their performance of late.

Old joke about the Flames. Save it for the day after the season ends.

Bob: Did you see all the fire trucks heading down Elbow yesterday afternoon?
Fred: Yeah. They turned west on 50th and headed down to the Country Club. Apparently there were Flames everywhere.

Regarding the increasing salary cap. This is a mechanism to bail out GM's. It's amazing that the salary cap will go up when the players won't get their previous season's escrow back. The next CBA negotiations should be fun.

I have no idea what your talking about. We have done nothing but try to help you guys win with innovative new strategies. If you thought we were making fun of you, that is simply not true, we were just trying to motivate you. And look how that has turned Out, you guys are on fire now. You are most welcome, but we Flames fans are good folk and like to help.

Not a bad idea. Might as well take advantage of a high first round pick... wait.

Ain't that the truth. I was just at the last two Dallas games and things felt eerily familiar. Not sure about hitch but gulutzan better be fired on garbage bag day.

Math is hard.

Not when it comes to Stanley Cups it's not.

1

Don't need Kumon for that math.

1 also denotes other cool things. LIke how many times the Flames have won against Anaheim in the past 47 years.
