Hi Everyone,

Heading out on a camping trip to goose lake never been there before. Anyone have any insight on fishing out that way I won't have a boat but would not mind doing a little fishing.

Thanks

Across the road from Goose there is Schumann lake - if the dock is in, you can fish for the stocked trout from there. No trails along the lake to shore fish from, though - it's basically reeds all the way up and down from the boat launch/dock.

Goose has the boat launch on the West side of the lake, with a dock as well. The shoreline above and below the dock can be fished, although not a lot of backcast room. Again, the lake edges (the ones that are accessible to the public, that is) are pretty weedy, so not a lot of opportunity there either.

The south end at the picnic area is accessible as well, but it's really weedy and you need to wade in a bit.
