I spoke with a photographer today and he is willing to donate his time and camera equipment to the event to ensure we get a great group photo, and a few photos more to remember the day. He has been out to two AO gatherings in the past, but is not a member of the board.

Also please donot refer to this event as a derby, it is a fun non competitive event and each child will recieve a participation prize. The words Derby or Tournament opens up a whole new set of legal issues.
All fish will be released unharmed

thanks

Thanks for adding our names to the list.

In the event that we get a lot of snow, I have a snowblower that I could put into the back of the truck to help clear off an area for skating or whatever. I will need to borrow some ramps from someone to drive it into the back of the truck because it is way too heavy (even for 2 people) to lift.

That's awesome about the portapotties Chubb, shouldn't be too many peepee dances on the go.

I'll say it publicly Chubb, it's meeting people like you that restore my faith in human nature. Big thumbs up! It's a wonderful thing you're doing, just wish I had more time to help out.

As I have already emailed Chub and TFG with the good news, I thought I would post it here:

ATCO Gas has agreed to provide a huge 30'x20' inflatable tent and two 48" gas grills for the event.

I am not sure what the final layout or decision will be, but we can use the tent for a cookshack, HQ, warm-up shack...whatever.

Many thanks to the great people at ATCO who are always there to help for a good cause...and I think this qualifies.

Just wondering who may be able to lend some ramps like the ones for a quad or something similar to load the snowblower if it snows prior to the event.

we could get a permit from F and W and get you stuffed Add my thanks to you to the list, getting kids into fishing is one of the best things we can do in this day and age to keep them occupied and out of trouble. This is going to be an awesome event, for the kids and for the rest of us!
