Pulled off a perfect spot and stalk on this big old brute. 7 bucks together I managed to select the biggest and oldest. Was a really fun hunt and I’ll be rewarded with a bunch of pepperoni and some back straps!

Default Buck Down

I managed to get this guy on Saturday. Measured out at 174 4/8 non-typical. I had a slight headache Sunday morning

Nice, I see the new broadheads got the job done, did you feel they performed well comparing them to others you have used?

This deer was kind of a weird one.

Shot was just under 50 yrds with daylight fading. I don’t use lighted nocks anymore so I didn’t see the hit but I heard the dreaded “hollow” sound and the deer hunched up and walked off. I recovered the arrow, clean passthrough and it told me to back out. I came back at first light and found him in under 10mins less than 200 yards from the shot. There wasn’t much blood trail and I smoked his liver. Tonnes of blood inside.

The hole you see is the exit

My dad shot a cow elk at 20, it went maybe 40 yards and dropped dead in about 20 seconds. It hardly had time to bleed.

Still need more first hand information but these things do penetrate well and they fly well too.

Default Moose harvest

I harvested my second bull moose on October 9th in wmu 248. I called 2 bulls in they fought there way across the meadow toward my calls for about 45 mins as I did cow calls every 10-15 minutes to keep them headed in my direction once in rage I took my shot at about 30 yards. This was a great experience fun to watch them fight. This is my second bull I have harvested here. My phone won’t let me post the pic I’ll try tonight to get it up on my computer hope you all enjoy the story. Now for the whitetail good luck out there.

In my opinion, every animal is a trophy. You got some high scoring meat. Congrats on the kill

Nice bull Kyle. Pretty sure I saw him a couple times this summer. Beautiful and unique animal.

Got a nice mulie the last weekend of bow season in the southern zones.

A couple weeks ago I bought a small freezer after filling my first ever archery tag on a white tail doe. But I think I’m gonna need another one now...

I was just slowly walking through the woods and boom all of a sudden there he was...close!! It was a misty morning , so my range finder had been useless, I guessed he was at 20-25 yards quartering towards me, picked my spot and let it fly.

He had a pretty unique rack as he had broken off an entire paddle.

Default One down

Rattled this one in a couple weeks ago. He came straight in and stopped head on for quite a while, not offering a shot. He then turned his head to look back behind him and a smaller one was also walking in. He whirled around and went back into the trees to shove the other one around and show him who was boss. The little one then did me a big favor by leading him right back through a good shooting lane. A good shot was placed and I heard him crash moments later.
Done whitetails before the cold weather sets in...

anyone missing a red and white Fletched looks like a FMJ arrow? saw a 6x6 bull in 312 with one still hanging from its side. shots placement looks good. Tad back. Anyway, the bull is still on the hoof and looks to be doing fine. Penetrations was very poor.

Here is the first pictures I got of my mule deer.

Here is a picture a few hours before we met.

Here he is a few hours after. Sorry for the poor picture quality. I was alone and tired.
