Can you fish buck lake from the shore?

I'm headed down by Buck lake for some camping this may long and I've never been to the lake before. I figured while some people might be drinking all day I'd take off and go have some real fun fishing. Can you fish it from the shore with any luck? I would never ask for any spots or tips usually on here for hunting or fishing areas but I figured since this was such a popular spot maybe someone would throw me a bone!

Not really.... like most Alberta lakes some form of watercraft is needed.

With chest waders you could get to some fish within casting distance around hauser cove but you gonna get cold fast this time of year. Watch your step partner, play safe.
