Default Report Today: GAP LAKE too windy..blow out today.

Funny...it wasn't windy in Banff but was a complete blow-out on Gap Lake today. Managed to throw out a few but nothing. Didn't expect anything. Some deep spots contrary to other reports. Will try again when less wind.

Do not quite know what you mean by some deep spots?

Were you in a boat or tube with a finder or throwing from shore. Only deep spot I ever found after going over the whole lake/pond is no more than 10ft.

wonder why its called a lake when its shallow...... prob like same depth as grotto by the looks of it though. Decent sized lake probably not worth form shore for anyone?

The only thing I've caught out their were a pile of white fish and a black bear on my back cast 2 years ago,how ever I have seen brookies cruising around, and the odd brown.need a boat and a calm day out their to stock the trout to be able to have any kinda luck.
