Default Eat You Salmon Eggs Like A Nice Boy!!!

Wow, people really seem to love their "Red Caviar". Do a few searches on it and it sounds like we all missed the boat on it.

So us sportsman huck it in the river and use a bunch for bait, which nothing better in my books, but the way people talk up red caviar compells me to give it a try this year!

Anybody put it up and eat it? When I put mine up, I can't eat it cuz it's full of sulfites and other crap! Just the tackleshop bait recipe!

Blah for me. I'll stick to chickens. I tried duck once but didn't like that either. Fussy about eggs

A friend puts salmon roe into salmon chowder and it tastes very similar to a piece of salmon.

Did it with rainbow trout eggs once (from a stocked pond). Just salt cured, no smoking. Quite good, taste best described as cucumber dipped in sea water.

How much do you want Marty? You can have all I harvest, just have to let me know how you want it preserved.

Every sushi place sells it. Can't believe some of you never tried it.

No, don't eat it! Real canadian should stick to beef and hamburgers. Leave those fish eggs for dirty immigrants. We'll take care of them
