Default Pine Lake Walleye | Timid House Cat Fishing

Part one of my day fishing Pine Lake, Alberta. The stars aligned and I was able to hook into multiple Pike and one nice Walleye! I've put in countless days fishing Pine and only heard of two people catching the odd small Walleye. Still can't believe I caught that brute. Part two will be out tomorrow so make sure to check back.

Nice video. Used to catch a lot of nice walleye and perch in Pine back in the day. Pike by the dozens. Loved that place, we were there the weekend before the tornado.

Any tips for catching Perch? I wouldn't even know the first place to start looking for them at Pine but it would be nice to hook into every species.

I can remember catching perch off the docks 35 years ago at pine. 6 feet of mono, a j hook and a couple maggots. Was nonstop action.

X2- right off the dock at Leisure campground. Huge perch all day long. Those days are gone.

Another great vid Timidhc...keep up the great work!

I have never fished Pine. But people that I know have said it was amazing for perch back in the day (like 30 years ago)!

That walleye of yours probably wiped them all out. :-)

Thanks for sharing that video. You picked one of the few days lately that would have been safe for a canoe. Congrats on your Walleye.

Used to do that at a friends cabin at Skeleton Lake too. Or out 20 feet from the dock on their Styrofoam surf type board. That was fun trying to un hook a fish above your legs that could stab you multiple times while you try not to tip over.

Another good vid OP.
