Default Maxime Bernier on 630 Ched

I don't know anything about this guy except the deal with him leave sensitive papers at his biker girlfriends place years ago. He was on 630 Ched this morning, and I got to say I was impressed with what he had to say. With english not being his mother tongue he did pretty good and got his thoughts across real well.
I had no idea they called him the Quebec Albertan!
I will be looking into him more seriously now that I have heard some of what he had to say.

Check Pierre Lemeiux. I think I like him better than Bernier.

I was impressed by him. His thoughts on equalization, corporate bail-outs, and marketing boards got my attention. Survival of the fittest!!! Taxpayer money does not belong there.

I always revved my dairy farmer cousins in the Okanagan by asking them if the reason that they wore such tightly curled peaks on their hats was to get their whole head into the mailbox to find their subsidy cheque. That sure got some extremely negative commentary, ending with something about sex & travel.

Preferred PC candidate by a lot of conservatives. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders and has said a lot of the right things.

You must have been away from the AOF General page for a while ... there's been Lots of threads and talk about Maxime lately. I would say that he's probably the most popular CPC Leadership candidate here, and also very high on the public polls.

The other CPC candidate I like is Pierre Lemieux, but he doesn't seem to be as popular, or as will known as Maxime.

Biggest plus with Bernier is he's going to get rid of the Capital gains tax. Allowing more middle class individuals to amass wealth and hopefully create competition with the big corporations who seem to control everything right now.
