Pretty sure its the end of the road for Vegas now.

I'm torn...

Vegas G. Knights: Motley crew of cast-aways trolling the entire league.

Washington Capitals: Ovi - Mr. Dependable, perennial 50 goal scorer, and arguably the best player in the league. If the guy doesn't win at least one Cup, his career will go down as one of the greatest sports tragedies of all time.

Winnipeg Jets: Canadian team blah blah...

Tampa Bay: Just like Tampa. Don't know why, just do.

Ovi is inarguably the best goal scorer in the league, and arguably the best goal scorer of all time. I wouldn't say he's in the conversation of best player in the league, though.

I think they do. They went 2-1-0 against them in the regular season, and Fleury is playing like a beast.

I have been cheering for the Jets and will continue to do so. but i dont like their chances against the Knights. The Knights keep proving the naysayers wrong and when Marc Andre Fleury gets in a zone in the playoffs....

Should be a good series between Winnipeg and Vegas. I think Winnipeg is the better, deeper team, but I'd sure prefer having MAF in goal over Hellebuyck.

Fair point. At the end of the day, nobody can score goals like Ovi, and that alone puts him in the conversation.

Yep, this is a heck of a story line they've got. They are mostly cast-away second liners (which is why they are such a deep team) but the coaching staff and team leaders should be commended on how well the team has gelled and developed over the season.

If they do manage to go all the way, you can bet a movie will be made...

And with them making the Western Finals if Gallant doesn’t win the Jack Adams the fix is in.

Is there any team that has played more hockey than Pens in the last 5 years (regular and post season combined)....? They just looked played out, it's a long brutal road to win Cups. Good for Ovi and the gang. Go Jets!

Phil Kessel had more give aways than a liberal re-election campaign...

Winnipeg isn't there yet, headed back to Nashville and Preds got the momentum. Will be a great game 7, I think Nashville will take it.

Yeah the deck is definitely stacked against the Jets right now what with the momentum shift and the Preds having home ice for game seven. But i am hopeful Byfuglien has another dominant performance along with Hellebuyck of course...
