Default Bow seems out of wack?

I bought my first Quest Hammer a few weeks ago and have been shooting it quite often, yesterday morning i went out and started shooting 20 yards consistently and on target so i moved back to 30 and 40, then again after dinner (well lite area) and again most of this morning and im going about 6 inches low and 1 inch to the left and not bunching at all. did my bow get messed up somehow yesterday afternoon or did i lol, i keep it strapped into a hard case, its kinda frustrating. and the peep sight never being straight when i draw adds to the frustration lol. Would anyone have any tips?

who ever set up the bow may not have tightened up the rest or sight enough..also could be just not set up right from the start..take it to a bow tech and have them look at it..most shops dont charge but some will..once its set up right check all screws perioticly to be sure they stay tight..do not use lock tight!!

Hey same problem right over here!!
Bought my hammer at cabelas practiced lots and same thing. Supposedly it was setup by the guy. I just couldnt get consistent accuracy even after paying close attention to my form and so on. I'm new to compound bows but I started to look at the bow more closely and noticed it was out of whack! When looking down the length of the bow the arrow stuck way out to the left.
Neither the sight or the rest was even close to center with the string. So i moved it all into place (the rest ended up being almost as far over as it could go). But when i tried shooting it my arrows were almost flying sideways. Figured it out my fletching was hitting the slider strings(i dont know the technical name). So turned my cock feather out and it now shoots a hundred times better but still isnt quite right.
Definitely recommend taking your bow to a good bowtech. It will save alot of frustration. I'm gonna do that with mine before next fall. Good luck just wanted to let you know your not the only one having issues with that kind of bow.

sounds like string stretch. thats normal on a new bow. as for peep twist.....the best solution is to throw it in the trash and get an anchor sight.

Hey, I forgot about this thread I started. I took my bow in to get tuned up and wow its better then new. When I draw the peep is perfectly straight. I was working on setting the 30 yard pin but never did get it cause everything started going out of whack. I went out as soon as I left Cabelas and both the 20 and 30 yard pins were dead on and the 40 is well on its way to being right on target and consistent. The only problem is that its alot harder to draw now, I did tell him that its very easy to draw so maybe he increased the draw weight, just means I gotta work on the muscles lol, but its worth it watching the arrows hit the target alot harder and louder, at times even knocking the target block right over.
