Default Regulation question for Battle lake pp2

Hi
Please help me decipher the new regulations on battle lake

So the

Portion west of the west boundary of section 22-46-2-W5; Includes tributaries and outlet downstream to Sec. Rd. 771

Is closed until June 1.

I think this portion is the south east end of the lake. If I stay north of the campground launch I think I’m good.

Remainder of the lake open may 15

I see the change regarding limits too

Thanks in advance

Interesting and very poorly worded. The regs need to get away from using legal land descriptions and start using GPS since it is becoming harder to find resources showing you where the legal land description is.

You can use the following map, type in 4-22-46-2 W5. The west line is the boundary being referenced(larger square is 22-46-2 W5). So the area still closed until June 1 is the NW end of the lake. It would also appear all tributaries and the outlet at SE end of lake are closed until June 1 as well. Poorly worded though.
