I forgot the Alberta walleye draw but got drawn for caribou / Yukon moose special guide with a friend so I can’t be too upset.

You are wasting your breath on here and particularly on a topic that is about draw results. If you do not like tags, take action / do something.

Also, how long has it been around now....10 years...longer I think. Time is ticking

Apparently you don’t read well . If you read my post it says some of us have written letters . Doesn’t change the fact that it sucks . And I do not support the system. And never will

And this thread was about Draw results day.

Maybe you and the other complainers should start another thread.

Darn, forgot all about the wally draw thing. But went on this morning and purchased one of the leftovers.
Depending on your location, there was a fair variety to pic from.

Sounds good. I think I'll do that for my wife this year. Thanks.

Picked up underscribed class B tags for the wife yesterday. The cashier at the Fishing Hole mentioned how quickly they were going. Especially Lac St Anne class B. Pigeon still had about 750 Bs left but probably a lot less now.

I was drawn for A--wonder if would have been able to not bother and buy Bs instead? Too late for this year, but thinking ahead. Something sure changed this year to have all those Bs still out there

Yeah, that is a thought. Worked out great for me this year. I was expecting class Cs. That said, you have to be fast regardless as they were going quickly.

I would just like to thank all the tag whiners for not participating and making my season that much easier and better this year

Out of 4500 class c tags for pigeon and St anne combined....7 tags for pigeon and 8 for st anne have been scooped up by the walleye loving masses in the week that undersubscribed tags have been available. Don't choke on the bones SNAPFisher.

No worries. I fillet them boneless.
I'm sure the tags will get swept up. And if they don't, more fish to grow. Another win in my opinion.

Move along troll.

Picked up some class C’s for Willow Lake this morning - some A’s left as well
Haven’t fished it in a few years but from what I have seen, the guys who know how to fish the lake have had no problem finding lots of fish in all sizes .
What surprises me is that there are any tags left unsubscribed anywhere!

I looked at the draw numbers and it appears they gave out twice as many tags this year, at least at Pigeon lake, twice as many "A" and "B". I was not expecting to be drawn for "B" this year but we were. Happy fishing.

Agreed. Picked up some class ‘C’s the little guys are quite delicious and easy to catch.

Or b's for the gf. Showing 535 left as of the 14th so you should have a choice if you go reasonably soon.

Good luck out there

I wish they would get rid of tags. Just change the regs to suit what the tags are doing now. Just another tax ! IMO

Many ways to change the regs to do the same thing that tags do.
