What kind of rest...
What kind of rest do you use and why? I'm thinking of trying something other than the ole whisker biscuit.

Right now I am using a Limb Driver, a Trophy Taker and a Muzzy Zero Effect. All three of these are good rests....there are numerous ones out there and others are going to tell you what they have as well.

I now use a nap smart tune drop away. I tried a spot hog wammy didn't like the time it took to make work. Also had a strike force cheaply made; worked not bad. The best thing I would say to do is go shoot some of your buddies bows with different rests and see what you like.

I just got a spot-hogg whammy and it was the easiest rest ever to set up.
what I like is that it is the best of both worlds. It is a spring loaded rest that supports the arrow for much of the shot and yet drops very quickly.
The other thing I like is that it has slack in the cable at full draw and there is no pressure on cables until the end of the shot.
I am still in testing phase but so far it seems to be the one.

I use an NAP QuikTune, I like it because it doesn't interfear with the fletchings.

QAD ultra rest is the best IMO. Been using one for 2 years with flawless performance.

I used to shoot them Russ (GK's).............I reversed the spring and turned them into drop-aways before drop aways were fashionable lol.

I use the alpine drop away. used a WB for 6 years before that. Switched because the WB is too loud.

I use a whisker bisket too and it works great. I have only bow hunted for 4yrs and it is my first rest.
I would be hard pressed to buy anything else.

I put a ripcord on my bow the other day and it took only a few minutes to paper tune it...love it.

I use the standard Mathews rest.
It works great for me and never give cause for concern.

I was right on top of the drop away thing about 7 or 8 years ago. Didn't mind it, one thing though that's kind of funny, people are still having clearance problems
