Default Filming your hunts

Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy an arm to hold a camera to film my hunts while in a tree stand?

What is everyone using these days?

Thanks in advance!

Just make sure you don't get one that is too expensive, otherwise you will break even on the arm and be down a leg. Also make sure it is long enough, wouldn't want to be another foot short.

On a side note, I wonder if a selfie stick could be easily mounted?

Depending on how much gadgetry you want to set up/haul.

This one will do for lightweight cameras, although it is a bit short - however it's not bulky or noisy:

Available on Amazon as well: https://www.amazon.ca/Hawk-ULTIMATE-.../dp/B014JTXJAA

Downside is that it doesn't clamp on your stand; you have to screw it into a tree. You could theoretically screw it into a block of wood that slides on to part of your tree stand, I suppose.

How heavy is your DSLR? Depends on the size/length of lens as well etc.

You can lag bolt a wall plate baby pin($20) to the tree, attach a manfrotto super clamp (mafer $40) to the spigot on the wall plate and a small ball head ($50) to your DSLR.

Bomber grip setup for around $100 bucks.
