Default Raven Wear Boot Blankets

Has anyone ever tried these? $140 a pair. I've got a pair of 800 gram thinsulate boots and I was thinking about using these on a November Whitetail hunt in Northern Alberta. Just wondering if it would be wise to buy these or buy another boot.

Thanks for any input.

I have some Raven Wear, not the booties but they do make some warm stuff. Not sure if you have looked at Arctic shield stuff but they have some boot covers too. Tried them at the Boat and Sportsman show a couple years ago they put one foot in the cover then put both feet in dry ice cubes. It does not take long for the normal foot to get cold, I sat through the guys whole spiel and the foot in the bootie did not get cold at all. Pretty neat stuff, I bought the system gloves though really like them.

The Arctic Shield booties are all I use here in northern Minnesota and when I hunt Canada each fall. They do work! Nice feature is they are small, none bulky, very light weight, easy to get in and out of. Ant you can buy a pair for around $40-50.00. I wear a 400 gram boot and have never had cold feet with these botties on.

I MAY try out the Raven Wear stuff this year on a November sheep hunt for long periods of glassing or sitting. Would help the mountain/pac boots keep a bit warmer I'm thinking....

I think I'm gonna have to get me a pair of those boot blankets, or make a pair. I get soo fricken cold in my ground blind some times, last year I had to get up and walk around it was soo cold. Even with damn near 1000 layers of cloths on! What a great idea!
