Well, finally got the rifle to the range. Seems my chamber repair job is working fine. Did however run into another issue with the trigger
First 4 rounds Bang, bang, bang bang, click, click ,click wtheck ?? Finally figured out that if I held my trigger finger at the very top of the trigger she would go bang
almost every time. So after the range session I bring the rifle home and check out the little "accublade safety thingy" and wouldn't you know it, a small burr on the top of the blade was causing the bolt to engage the safety if you squeegeed the trigger to slowly. So after a little filing on the accutrigger safety latch thingy it seems to be working fine. I hope. Another PROBLEM fixed on this "flagship" Salvage rifle.
So guys I think after all this dicking around I might actually qualify as a "Master Gunsmith" in Savages eyes....
