Hope the pic works, hoping fish is a sucker?

Never heard white suckers called Mariah. Burbot yes but not suckers. Could be the vernacular somewhere though.

That is a White Sucker (Catostomus commersonii)

He is outfitted in his spawning colouration

Thanks for the feedback, I thought it was a sucker, just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a carp! Scales looks more carpish.
