just wondering how you freeze them? Skin them and then freeze them fur out or fur in? Just curious because I want to do some rat trapping this spring.

Fur out. I put 20 in a bag and try to freeze them flattish. If you try to freeze a bunch the ones in the middle will spoil before they freeze, learnt that the hard way. Freezing by 20 in a bag also helps when pulling them out later and knowing how many you took out to flesh and stretch.

Sorry for the questions as I am a new trapper, but what sort of bag? Just a garbage bag or did you use a fur bag?

If your your only storing for a few months garbage bags are fine, squeeze all the air out and double bag. I've vacuumed sealed muskrats for 2 years no problem.
