Default Grind to fit butt plate?

I recently got a tikka M55 that is a bit long for me. It has the original factory recoil pad, and I think if I was able to replace it with a simple butt plate the fit would be better without cutting the stock.
I am having trouble finding one. Does anyone have a suggestion regarding sourcing one?
Thanks
Vance

Call Western gun Parts here in Edmonton. They might even have a factory one but they will for sure have replacement thin butt plates you could grind to fit. Brownelles has them too but you need a big enough order so the shipping makes sense.

Western for sure has pachmayr. Cabelas has some grind to fit as well. Just not positive On the brand they carry.

Finding the recoil pad type is easy, the thin plastic or metal replacement plates are a lot more rare, especially up here in Canada. If Western for some reason is out of them Nordic Marksman has some for putting on Anschutz rifles, the larger ones will probably grind down fine for your use.
