Default Looking for a fleshing beam

Hi guys, I'm lookong for a fleshing beam for coyotes that they used to sell in the ATA store. Abt 4 ft long and tapered on a lathe with a 3" diameter by 6" stubb on the bottom. Thanks 780-675-3616hm and 780-675-4030wk

Go buy a 8 in by 6 ft fence post for 8 bucks at the farmers co=op , one end is already tapered just smooth it off and away yaaa gooo , thats what l used.

Halford Hide has both a synthetic fleshing beam that comes with a steel wall mount and a wooden beam. Both are on their website.

i use the exact same thing, post works wonders!

YOU BET, also used it to flesh out game head capes , mind was about 5ft long 8 in post , built a home made bed for it to lie in to keep it from rolling around, then laid it against the workbench at an angle , sat on a chair and fleshed away ,rolled the post around by hand as l fleshed downward,

yep, i built a homade stand in about 10 minits in my shop, just some square tubing and a few welds and it was done, can roll it do what ever. Set it up against my "skinning bench. I learned that trick from my neighbour who i swear is the oldest trapper in Canada, 91 almost 92 and he's out on the line every day! Old fellow took me under his wing and i go with him quite regularly.
