Default Sea can

Anyone know of a good place to purchase a sea can in the okotoks high river area. I guess Calgary too.

If you are ok with going further north "Uncle Weiner's" in Edmonton usually has some for a good price.

Uncle Weiner's has a Calgary location, though I've only driven past it and never actually been in to check it out.

I have a sea can that I purchased from Mobile Mini. I wish I had bought it earlier, mostly because I rented it for so long that I paid for it more than once!
Decide if you want one that's immaculate from a single trip or something with a lot more character to it, they're priced accordingly.

If you do check it out, report back here.
I’ve never been, only looked at the web page.

Manhattan Rd between Blackfoot & 46th Ave, west side about halfway through the curve.

Try the C Can Store, Jessica is great to deal with, very good pricing on the 42' one we bought.

Try Heath Specialty Services. They move sea cans and deal with the sellers all over the province, all the time. I'm guessing they would be able to point you in the best direction for prices, and deliver it for you if needed.

Be wary of a kijiji deal or paper deals , one fellow I know posts an add and sells sea cans BUT he does not own any he sells them out from under the nose of the real dealers and they know nothing about it ! When you go look at it they know nothing about it .

Just a heads up. Don't buy uncle weiners "AR500" dueling tree. It's not AR500...
Plus it has no forward lean (or cam system) so it doesn't really work unless you block it up to lean forward.

Wow that is defently not ar500 steal

That is a major hazard to shoot at you could get a riciche very easy with that and kill yourself or someone else shooting at uneven steel at such close range

Lookup on YouTube people shooting at old tire rims and almost killing themselves or by standards with riciches
One guy had his hat taken off his head from one, one inch lower and he would have been dead

I have shot my ar500 1/2 plate with a 25-06 at 20 yards and not even a dent

It has taken hundreds of rounds and with a fresh coat of spray paint it looks brand new

Even hot 22-250s at over 4000ft/s don't hurt it

That is the point of ar500 steel, because it absorbes all the force and the bullet drops straight down

Shot at 100M. Private range, no one is in any danger.

I have 3/8 AR500 gongs and silhouettes shot with the same ammo (223) and it does not do any damage.
