Question Virginia Creeper on Vinyl Siding

I have virginia creeper going hard on one side of the house, supported by lattice to begin with but now wants to pass the lattice and climb up the vinyl siding. Last year it got a small ways up and I took it down but think that side of the house would look outstanding if I let it go.

Anyone have any experience with this? Will the Creeper damage the siding or cause any other issues? Can't seem to find anything on line that's reliable either way.

You have to keep it somewhat under control. I don't think it would damage any siding but it will definitely get into every little nook or cranny.

Keep it off the soffit, the weight can pull it down.

Just be 100% sure that it's what you want long term. It will make its way up in between the vinyl panels so getting rid of it will be an absolute chore.

If let loose, that Creeper will be everywhere. Keep it well contained and away from siding and soffits in particular. I finally had to destroy mine after a few years as it found it's way in to my garage.
