Default Coyote Attacks

Saw this in the news today:

https://calgaryherald.com/news/local...e-children/amp

2 children attacked. There was also a story today about a cougar attack on a child in B.C.

Sad! They are getting quite bold. I know where my parents live in olds the coyotes are insane. I fear it’s only a Matter of time there before something happens. Wish they had a rifle... here at home I have idiots feeding coyotes and fox and it’s only a matter of time before it happens here as well. I’m hoping to put a dent in their population a little this winter though.... with fur prices still high if I can make a few $$ and solve a problem at once I’d be quite happy doing it that way.

They were not a problem when all the "good ol boys" packed a rifle in the back window of their trucks. But we new this would be the result.

I had a buddy at work about three weeks ago that got rushed by a coyote then it spent about 15 mins circling him and trying to figure out how to take him down before a crewcab came along and ran him off. The guys 6.ft 200 pounds and in damn good shape too.
