Default setting nets "winter"

ok ive been setting nets for a while with my dad and we have our usual spots and i know how the process works. its just one thing that came up was do i have to set into the flow of the lake ? see ive only ever fished with my dad and the spots always provide so i never asked a qustion beacuse he'd get mad knowing i watched him many times lol

I am only guessing but suspect most fishermen here are into sport fishing not net fishing.

Under what netting license are you working with? You may be limited as to where you set the nets.

I would suggest you speak with your father.
This is a sport fishing forum not a commercial netting forum.
