Default Burbot recipe?

Anyone know how to prepare a burbot so that it doesn't smell and taste like a roadkill crow? I tried to eat one once when I was a teenager, but I couldn't get past the buzzard smell, is that typical of these fish, or did I get a bad one? I was told that you have to skin them, so that is what I did, but even the dog wouldn't eat it after it was cooked, but the cats seemed to enjoy it.

Cube it. Deep it in egg(with your favorite spices + dill). Then to bread crumbs.
File half busket, deep fry at 160C for 6 minutes.
Delicious!

Caution! An extraordinary amount of beer might be needed!

I personally cube mine, boil it for 2 minutes, and then switch to a pan with lots of super hot butter and a ton of garlic. Anyone who says that tastes and smells like roadkill crow is cooking/preparing it wrong.
