Do you have to be a memeber to buy, or buy online?

2 tickets just purchased, thanks for the heads up lefty. My first ever rifle was from a draw through aheia. I always buy tickets now. You can't win if you don't buy tickets!!

You'd think that being a bowhunters association they would be auctioning off a bow or something more bowhunting related? I guess I'll just sell it to buy a new bow! Lol!

Bows are very personal as we all know, rifles seems to generate more interest as they appeal to more people. Bows are usually given away at the banquet.

That is true about a bow being personal. And I really do love x-bolts. A .243 might be worth keeping around for a few years for my future antelope hunt. Sounds like quite the setup. Good luck to all who enter.

3 Tickets purchased.
Any chance of trading it back in for a lefty?

Unfortunately no I don't think so, but you could ask.

I don't think that one comes in a lefty...might be able to ask Barton's after you win

Yes indeed just as pictured: rifle, scope, case and E-caller.

So my question is why is the Bowhunters association giving away a firearm? Shouldn't they give away a bow? I can't be the only one thinking this.. that said, I've bought a few tickets.

IMHO, because bows are a harder raffle as people are extremely brand loyal and picky when it comes to bows

It was decided to do something different. The ABA has done bows, cougar hunts, backwoods camping packages, this time they are doing a Predator Package.

This also appeals to more folks, and with it being a legal big game caliber...possibly more.

At the annual banquet there is usually a few bows, quite often a Jack Kempf bow too! Have to be there to win those items though.

I'd say it's more than a 1/4 sold lefty. I just got my tickets in the mail today. 383 and 384. If they are selling them in order, then it's getting closer to half sold out.
