Default Arrows..

Seems to me arrows have become outrageously expensive as of late, so I've been looking around for good deals. Anyone spot any deals lately? I've shot a lot of different arrows and really haven't found that much difference as long as they were decent quality to begin with, so next time I find a good deal I'm going to buy a few dozen to tide me over for a while.

I bought GT hunter xt when I bought my bow. They shoot great. I liked them. I started losing arrows while practicing and started looking for cheaper alternatives. I ended up trying out the cabelas stalker extreme carbon arrows. They advertise.+/- .003" straightness and go on sale a lot for $47/half dozen arrows.

The shoot just as good as my Gold Tips. Great bang for your buck.

Dollar goes down, prices go up.

Amazon has good deals. I bought a bunch of carbon express pass thru extremes this summer, couldn't even find them in stock here

I switched from cabelas stalker extreme to goldtip xt because the gt was 85/dz at wss in the fall. Cabelas quality isn't as great as goldtip but they were plenty good enough. The sale price of the gt was less than cabelas so that prompted the switch

I'm hoping there will be some good new years/boxing day sales. I haven't paid more than $90 a dozen for years now, and always managed to get some pretty good arrows. Next real good deal I find I think I'll just go ahead and get a few years worth.

At least with arrows you can reshoot them. Imagine going to fire off a box or 2 of bullets week or so. In 2 months you qould have 12 premium arrows paid for and those arrows would last quite awhile unless your a terrible shot or a robin hood machine.
