Default 2016/2017 Horn Scoring Shows

The 8th Annual Cherry Grove Big Buck Night is being held on Saturday, Dec 10th at the Cherry Grove Community Hall (12km SE of Cold Lake) starting at 12PM. Entries will be accepted from 8AM until 5PM only with awards starting at 6PM. There'll be numerous categories and great prizes to be had. Horn entry is $20 and $10 for viewing; kids under 11 free. There will be vendors onsite to satisfy your Christmas shopping needs also. This year proceeds will be going to the "Haying in the 30's" - Cancer Support Group. Last year we donated $5000.00 to the "2nd Chance Trail Ride" - Organ Donation support group from proceeds of the show. Please visit our website or Facebook page for more info.

A valid AB or SK big game tag must accompany each entry and a valid Possession Acquisition License must be presented to purchase a firearm or accept a firearm as a prize. No exceptions!

There will be a presentation from Fatal Impact and Coyote Country as well.
Both great shows on Wild TV.

Wild TV personalities will be at the Cherry Grove big Buck Night this year.
Fatal Impact will be putting on a presentation in the afternoon and Coyote Country in the evening.
ALSO THERE IS A HUGE GRAND DOOR PRIZE.

Not to high jack your thread but the Vermilion Gun Club Big Buck contest is December 4th.It was a pre-registration with deadline on October 31.Its more of a local thing.We are raffling off stuff during the day so If you guys have nothing too do, come check us out. Pm if you need directions

You're not hijacking at all Pintail, thanks for sharing! I started this thread to get everyone involved in posting info on their upcoming shows. Thanks for the info on the Vermillion event!

I read that Jimbows Archery in Calgary will be hosting theirs on January 28, 2017 from 10am-5pm with priority going to 2016 harvests

ESOX, I checked with a friend who lives there and he doesn't know of any shows up that way unfortunately

I sent an email to Cabelas Edmonton South asking about their annual scoring day. The manager that replied said that January 28th is the tentative date.

I hear Jack Graham will be there too if someone wants a North American animal scored Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young
If you have an animal to enter which has been scored somewhere else bring the score sheet in with the entry

It is expected that all entries are clean and free of offensive odors or they will NOT be measured.

Hunters wishing to enter their heads for current competition 2016 season and having addresses with the following postal codes: T0K1W0, T0K0P0, T0K1H0, T0K0E0, T0K0C0, T0K1C0 & T0K0M0 must have their heads into the drop off stations by Wednesday, January 7th.
If you cannot drop your head off by this date, you may bring it to the Pincher Creek Community Hall on Friday evening, January 13, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Default High River Fish and Game Horn Score

Hey Everyone, HRFG is holding there horn score day Saturday February 4th. Noon to 4pm. Non members are $10 bucks or better yet join the club and come out to the Banquet in March.
