Seems there is no-one in AB that wants to do the work
Got creative and built a custom barrel vise and action wrench following Hamilton Bowen's article "sight crankin' you can do this at home" which was published in Guns Magazine July 2006
Sight needed to move right (tighten barrel) 0.02" according to calculations
Marked the original position of the barrel using a fine scribe on the underside
Found Uberti actions are quite loose and it did not take much pressure to tighten the barrel (could have went much further if needed). It did not take much rotation to move the front sight 0.002". In fact the original scribe lines were pretty close
Ejector rod and housing still line up beautifully with no modification
My Uberti is now a dream to shoot!! It now shoots to point of aim at 25 yrds...kentucky windage is now a thing of the past!!
