Wanted to build an enclosed 45 yard target range but didn't happen.
So I'm working on a 50 yard outdoor range for the upcomming spring.
The link above is a base for my backstop and tuning house.
Will post picts. as construction gets on.
Anyone else thinking of building a long range target house in the backyard
is welcome to post suggestions etc.
Winter is setting in down here too so this is no easy feat for me either.
But I wanna get it done. :-)
My best guess is from the what I got laying around i can build this for about
25 - 35 dollars or so.
I got 2x6s to frame the building, I have rusty tin from the lean - to I took off
the big barn some 5 or 6 years ago for roofing, I can get all the plastic plasebo from Wally World (work) and I have extra chicken wire in the Snake Shed. I've got a rebuilt blackhole target. and a spare roll of freezer wrap along
with 3 miles of used PVC in various dias. in various lengths.
So, yes I can build this thing.
May need to by a half a pld. nails and expain that to the little woman.
But all in all it's good right ?
