[QUOTE=Bigrib;4602726]Trudeau just announced a Booze Buy Back Program to safen up Canada . Details are to follow but they plan on starting in PEI going house to house with all the various contributions to be tested and disposed of correctly in Newfoundland .

The program to be administered by Griff Peddle who goes by Boyo usually found mostly upright at the Hungry Cod Pub .

Griff is well known for telling the same joke every day " A Newfie was standing at a bar and a beautiful woman was beside him so he leans over and says,
"You remind me of my little toe"
She replies, "What? You Mean I'm small and cute?"
He says, "No. I'll probably bang you on the coffee table
later when I'm drunk."

Guess I will have to get grandpa to fire up the still!!! Gonna have booze runners just like when they taxed the crap out of cigs. They are taxing us to death and even try again after that. Just think someone or some people are getting paid big bucks to dream this K-rap up. How can we steal more money from our citizens and make it sound right? I think we might need to hire the Paparazzi to follow all Liberal politicians for the month of February.
I totally agree with a daily happy hour on AO

It's just a coincidence - Report comes out the same week liquor taxes are increased to make it more difficult to harm ourselves.

More folks die from alcohol than firearms. I say they should prohibit booze as well.

See how that works out ........

The issue is once again they are telling you what you can and can’t do inside your own home. It’s nanny state over-reach, no matter what “topic”

How about fentanyl? If the govt really wanted to save lives they would focus on that instead of whiskey, guns and cow farts

Well dry February appears to be a bust. According to new guidelines I'm already 4 months into my quota already this month.
Will try again in March...except for St. Paddys day of course....so maybe April. Of course the next jump in carbon tax happens Apr. 1st so I'll probably want a drink.
This is hard

They'll just add some poison to it. Gotta get the numbers down somehow, they are pulling out all the stops now.

Alcohol causes climate attacks.

April will be a no meat month as they try to get you to eat the bugs.

Default February Is A Busy Month

Wow Feb is a busy month for the shortest month in the year, ground hog day, Valentines day, Family day, Yukon heritage day, Black history month and now Government dry month

"Don't drink during black history month"
Seems like an interesting take for the federal government.

i just don’t get it, the guy legalizes cannabis then goes after alcohol. I would be more concerned of the pesticide and fertilizers going onto the plant that you’re smoking, than what goes into the refinement of ethanol.
