Good job on building that ice fishing hut. Enjoy.
Thanks I thought so. I even used the panels for the floor. Just have to decide the hole configuration. I hate weaving though a gauntlet of holes.lol

Yesterday was too cold to lay on my back in the driveway bolting up the sled deck. Too cold to open up the garage and swap out the sleds and put the quad where they sat in the off season, so off to work and did paperwork but watched the overtime and penalties of the world cup before heading to the desk. Then snow duty at mine and the parents place. Lazy evening of YouTube & Netflix.

Running rigging for my son as he attempts to single handedly fix the black knot problem in Edmonton...lol

12 hr days. One site to the other. We have only had to cut down 15 or 16 trees that were beyond trimming.

Amazing how many people have called him for tree work. Lots of great arborists in Edmonton and no shortage of work.

Rebuilding a carb for a 70 year old tractor. Problem was a leak in the float. Now trying to figure out a magneto for someone else. Taste testing way to much baking. I now know what I'm getting for Christmas, FAT.

The best. My father in law used to make toys like this for the kids. They treasure them to this day.

LOL, it's all part of a kitchen renovation that culminates on Thursday with new quartz countertops and a new vanity top. Will be glad when this week is over.

I like it. Simple yet classic. I'll take one of those over socks for a present any day.

We usually burn black knot. I think its the best way to dispose of it

Once it gets around -5 or so, we are removing a large tree rife with black knot. Easily a pickup truck full. If u want it, let me know. I think the bottom circumference is close to 4' if i recall its a schubert of sorts

Drank coffee until 10:30, shoveled the driveway, then went and dropped off some powder. Ordered some long range targets and hung out at the Union hall drinking more coffee- pretty much a normal day unless I am at the range !

Just finished up building a hardwood stand for a gift. Then started cutting and going to weld in some panels on an old square body shorty Chevy.

Perhaps. I'm no bird pro, so I'll take your suggestion. When they fly away they all group together and fly in a tight pattern and swing wildly in any direction and don't fly out of form. Does that tell you anything?

These are actually Bohemian Waxwings. A good rule of thumb, which would be correct 90% of the time, is Bohemian Waxwings in winter (large flocks) and Cedar Waxwings in summer (small flocks, singles or pairs). There are exceptions, of course, as a few Cedar Waxwings do over winter in Alberta every year.

I think I will make it out as far as the wood pile today. Right now it is only -32 but I was up in the night and it was -36.
