Good observation. Regarding Trudeau, liberals won two seats in Manitoba. Then have to go to Langley Bc for next liberal. Large percentage of rural Ontario voted Conservative. Liberals base is Urban Toronto, Montreal. Win those two cities, then likely win election (Toronto population >/=Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba combined). Bloc resurrection in Quebec didn’t help the conservatives. Maritimes are hands out provinces. Must be hard, for Alberta Newfoundlanders watching how there province votes (bet lot of animosity for Xmas gatherings). Liberals do not appeal to Rural, or western Canada 🇨🇦. Conservatives put a guy like scheer (whom was flawless, smiled with dimples and apple pie 🥧 Kind of guy), still lost. Urban female Millenial population wants to stop Resource development in Canada 🇨🇦. Oil, gas, mining ore, coal, gold, etc.
