I’ve never tried them. But there are a few threads on CGN about this very thing.

Several threads on CGN and Facebook, it's a common issue.

I picked up a few and they are super tight to get seated.

I read this too. It's why I didn't jump on the LRPs I saw. Is this an issue, or more of a pita?

I haven't had any issues on my Lapua brass using them.

Default Issues

I talked to a gentlemen about this over a gun counter in central Alberta 2 weeks ago and he mentioned hearing about issuses in seating the Ginex primers. He explained when the users are having issues, they have reamed out the primer pocket slightly to accomidate for size and seating depth. Also mentioned after using this method the brass that has been reamed will no longer fit most to all other brands of primers,Eg-federal,winchester,CCI,he basicaly talked me iut of using the Ginex line of primers.Seems its a hit or miss with this brand of primers.

I have not tried the rifle primers but had no issues seating the Unis small pistol version. I thought they were pretty soft, though. However, now that CCI sp primers are available I won’t be buying Unis again.

Are you using a hand primer system? I use the feed tube that fits to the press. They are certainly snug, but I am able to seat them flush. It sounds like this is common problem especially when using the hand primer.

Default No problem here

I have been using the CamPro SRP in my 223 for some time now, have loaded over 500 and no issues at all.

Those things are a king of the Klondike grip test. I have a hand primer and almost crushed if trying to get them in. I switched over to the primer in the press as some brass were near impossible. I’ve heard some fclass guys like them better that the cci br stuff so they are worth a shot.
